If you are looking for rest, tranquility and natural beauty, Cerro Alto Lodge is the perfect place. Far away from the bustle of the city and the highways with traffic excess, surrounded by beautiful gardens, fresh climate during the whole year and the most impressive view to the Turrialba Valley.  

Because of its excellent location, 950 mts over the sea level, people can enjoy the panoramic view toward any cardinal point that they want. To the East, the picturesque villages of Sitio Mata de Pavones, to the West, the volcanos Turrialba and Irazú with the pretty city of Turrialba in their skirts, to the North, the villages of Guayabo and when the climate allows it, the plains of the Caribbean and to the South the imposing mountains of the Talamanca mountain range with the Cerro de la Muerte and the Chirripo, the mountainous area of the Tapantí Reserve, the Reventazon Valley with its cultivations of sugar cane, coffee and macadamia, the hydroelectric dam Angostura and small villages. 

Small trails among cypress trees, guayabos and bamboo with multicolored gardens, making the delight for the lovers of the nature, excellent for the observation of birds, squirrels and small species of reptiles like iguanas. 

Been founded in 1984 by Oscar García who with genius and dedication made of this paradise a pleasant place visited by Costa Ricans and foreigners, who look for the flavor of the Costa Rican cuisine accompanied by the landscape and the tranquility that wrap Cerro Alto Lodge. 

Cerro Alto Lodge is located in Sitio Mata, 10 kilometers away from the downtown of Turrialba, highway to Siquirres. 

Take the route number 10 toward Siquirres passing  by the CATIE and then the bridge over the river Reventazón, following you will find an intersection, where you should continue toward the left, more or less 5 kilometers later you will arrive to the village of Boveda, at this point turn to the right and continue by the road until finding the sign with the name of the hotel.
